Bix Biro was the producer of Orson Welles' production of The War of the Worlds in October 1938. He was blackmailed by Cosmo Devine, who kidnapped his lover Jimmy Winkler, to use his contacts to find the whereabouts of an alien ship. He embedded the information on the broadcast. After the broadcast, Welles entered Biro's office, only to find him dead. (AUDIO: Invaders from Mars)
