Bloodhunter

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

The Bloodhunter was a genetically engineered created life form.

Biology[[edit] | [edit source]]

The Bloodhunter was a short, squat humanoid, hairless and with skin the colour of raw meat. When wounded, it oozed a thick, clear jelly. It had long powerful arms with big, clawed hands. Its head consisted of a fleshy stump with a small cluster of eyes and a group of tendrils beneath them, which it extended to suck its victims dry. (PROSE: Fear of the Dark)

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

Ravus Oldeman created it by combining DNA samples collected from the surface of Akoshemon with human DNA and force generating the resulting life form, in an attempt to create a creature capable of autonomous self-stasis. However, the creature turned out to have incredible physical strength and an insatiable appetite for blood, which it drained from humans using its tendrils. (PROSE: Fear of the Dark)
