Bombay Sapphire

Bombay Sapphire was a brand of gin.

In the latter half of the 20th century, Iris carried in her handbag a glass gin pistol filled with Bombay Sapphire. She pulled it out when she met Sweep — and the rest of the cast of The Sooty Show — while they were waiting for the bus. She, Sweep, and Sooty later used the gin pistols to fight off the clouds that were ruining their day at the seaside. They also squirted Matthew Corbett twice.
