As the Tenth Doctor once told Majenta Pryce, Bonnybridge was a place in in Scotland that had a major dimensional flaw, and thus attracted a lot of UFOs. It was one of Britain's most important sites for attracting UFOs, next to Cardiff, London and Stockbridge. (COMIC: The Stockbridge Child)

The 1995 Bonnybridge Cigar Confrontation was an incident known to UNIT that served as one of several exception to the otherwise relatively peaceful era after the mid-1980s to the mid-2000s. (PROSE: UNIT History: Fighting the unknown)
