Brotadac
From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
Lieutenant Brotadac (TV: Meglos) or Brotodac (PROSE: Meglos) was a Gaztak mercenary under General Grugger.
Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]
In 1980, Brotadac helped in bringing a human to Meglos and in stealing the Dodecahedron.
He thought the Fourth Doctor's coat was "rather nice", and said to Grugger he hoped Meglos — in the Doctor's form — would let him have the garment, "...now that he's finished playing the Doctor".
Brotadac was killed, along with the other Gaztaks, when Zolfa-Thura exploded. (TV: Meglos)
Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Brotadac's dialogue to Grugger about Meglos's Doctor's coat — "It's rather a nice coat... now that he's finished playing the Doctor" — was an in-joke referring to Tom Baker's announcement that he was leaving Doctor Who after seven years.[1]
