Academician Brown was a member of the Academy. He was the chair of their Scientific Committee.
He married his first girlfriend, who later died from cancer.
In 2400, he was the leader of the opposition to the government's practices, and a sympathiser of the Freedom Party. He was also secretly a member of the Fellowship.
Bulbir Singh Mann used a book of William Ashbless' poetry as a hiding place to smuggle Dream B. He brought it to Brown and they shared some of it. After the effects of the drug wore off, he and Mann were killed by General Kopyion. (PROSE: The Pit)
