On the cruiseliner Titanic, buffalo wings were served to guests as food. Foon Van Hoff commented that "these buffalo must have lots of wings". (TV: Voyage of the Damned)

Buffalo wings have nothing to do with buffalo, which is why Foon's line works as a joke. Instead, the term refers to the sauce popularised in Buffalo, New York, used to cover chicken wings.
