Burgess
Burgess, later known as the Albino, was a criminal who operated in London from the 1930s to (at least) 1951. Even before becoming the Albino, Burgess was aware of extraterrestrial beings (and seemingly aware of how the "Little Emily/Honoré" belts, possibly suggesting ties to the Sodality). His club "hired" extraterrestrial beings to work as "exotic dancers".His main associates were the lawyer Augustus Schreck and the cybernetically-resurrected time traveller Leiter.
Presumably born in Scotland or to Scottish parents, most of Burgess' early history is unknown. By the 1930s, he had started his criminal enterprises and began construction of an underground bunker. In 1951, Burgess first met the time-traveller Leiter once he sold his travelling companion (and former lover) Catherine Howkins into prostitution. This arrangement was interrupted by the arrival of Burgess' own future self (alongside Emily Blandish and Honoré Lechasseur, alongside Catherine Howkins from the future). The events of this meeting led to an explosion which caused Burgess' grievous injuries. Once recovering, Burgess became the Albino.
Shortly after this transformation, the Albino had the deceased Leiter cybernetically-resurrected and built a massive computer database of wax cylinders within his club which he used to speak.
Several months later, the Albino found Honoré and Emily snooping around his club. Realizing that he could use Emily's abilities to travel back to the time in the bunker and steal the companion piece to a "Little Honoré" belt which he had in his possession, he had her separated from Honoré and flitted backwards in time with her. Unbeknownst to the Albino, this only led to him becoming part of the chain of events that led to him becoming the Albino. Though he and Emily nearly died in the explosion, Emily was able to save the Albino using a spare belt that she kept hidden on her person ever since a future Honoré gave it to her. Once outside of the bunker, the Albino was met by Honoré and Emily. They told him that they would use his powers to send him either back to November or "some time after the last ice age".
