Mr Carrington was the manager of the pop group Military Hardware. When the members of the group died in a plane crash, he brought their bodies to the Grand Auctioneer at the Lifemarket so their bodies could be reanimated. When the Sixth Doctor destroyed the project, Carrington threatened that he would make sure no one in the music industry would ever do business with the Lifemarket. (PROSE: A Star is Reborn)
