Carson was a crew-member on Briggs' freighter heading towards Earth in 2526.
Carson, along with Vance, was patrolling the hold when they were both attacked and killed by the Neomorph Cybermen near silo 941. Their bodies were discovered by the Fifth Doctor and Adric. (TV: Earthshock)
