Castle Kraighten

Castle Kraighten was an individual of a chameleonic species who fled to Earth and disguised itself as a Gothic castle, just outside Kraighten Holt in the Scottish Highlands.
For several decades, the house was lived in by the Laird John Campbell and his wife Anna Campbell, tended to by their housekeeper, Dorothy, who was in reality the chameleon's wife.
One year, in the 1890s, the house began to awake and a huge mouth appeared in the library. This prompted the Campbells to hire the Paternoster Gang, as well as mistakenly inviting Thomas Carnacki, to investigate the building. (AUDIO: The Screaming Ceiling)
