Chansum Phermore was the stepfather of Haragh Phermore, who attempted to assassinate them. However, the Twelfth Doctor posed as their Chansum's new chef and did not poison them during their 17-course meal, telling them of Haragh's plot afterwards and causing Chansum to sue Haragh.
