Charlene "Charley" Connor was a blonde, attractive scientist who was intelligent, curious and argumentative. She was convicted for sargol abuse and three counts of theft and was sent aboard the KayBee 2. In truth, she was a political prisoner of the Administration.
Connor assisted in the KayBee expedition in the Ardethe System following one in which the crew failed to return. To make starting a new life in a new system easier, she asked Jason Kane to marry her for six months and he accepted. (PROSE: Deadfall) Jason "finished" with her at some point afterwards (PROSE: Twilight of the Gods) and, when asked about her by Bernice Summerfield, he refused to talk about her. (PROSE: Oblivion)
