Charles Crookshap was a celebrated author. He said that he could talk to the future and showed John Hobshaw this. He thought that the Fifth Doctor was his future self. He said all of his information came from his dreams. The Doctor realised that there was not a Charles Crookshap and he was phishing people. He had created a paradox which was his undoing.
