From 1932 to 1940, 26 out of 34 children of the Millhouse community were kidnapped by Odd Bob the Clown. Until 2009, none of the children had returned. They vanished from an open-air thanksgiving celebration. The children were chasing balloons, then they just disappeared. After this, there wasn't any trace of them.
The police were investigating but couldn't find any clue. In 2009, Odd Bob told Sarah Jane Smith that all his kidnapped children were somewhere between this world and another. He said that they were just sleeping, but after a while, they just faded away. (TV: The Day of the Clown)
