Chopin

Chopin was a composer, whose works included piano concertos and preludes. (PROSE: Casualties of War, Whiskey and Water) Among Chopin's music was his first concerto, a favourite piece of David Minett. Chopin wrote the concerto when he was only twenty years old, though it was in fact the second concerto he wrote, published before the earlier piece when its orchestral notation was lost The Eighth Doctor also considered the concerto beautiful, and commented that it was unbelievable a man so young contained "such mature perfection" after hearing Mary Minett play the piece. (PROSE: Casualties of War) Chopin's works were well-known by 1887, when Wilma Norman-Neruda was scheduled to play Chopin at the St James' Hall and Sherlock Holmes suggested to John Watson that they attend.
