Christopher Tranchell, sometimes credited as Chris Tranchell (born 13 April 1941[1]) appeared in several Doctor Who television stories: as Roger Colbert in The Massacre, Steven Jenkins in The Faceless Ones, and Andred in The Invasion of Time. He also voiced Mortega in Magic Bullet Productions' The True History of Faction Paradox audio stories Body Politic and Words from Nine Divinities.

Next to his roles on Doctor Who, he is best known for playing Paul Pitman on Terry Nation's Survivors television series. He also had roles on several other TV shows between 1961 and 1996, including Out of the Unknown, The Bill, Z-Cars, The New Avengers, Churchill's People and The Onedin Line.
