A Chronic Spasm Virus caused its carrier to randomly jump through time and space.
Amy Pond and Rory Williams both briefly became infected by the virus during their travels with the Eleventh Doctor, who had to chase them as they popped up in different places in history. He managed to scramble the virus with his sonic screwdriver, curing them. (COMIC: Random History)
