A chronic tripwire was a weapon used by the War Doctor to bring down a Dalek flying saucer over Marinus during the year A10%? of the Last Great Time War. The War Doctor explained that the Daleks inside the saucer suffered from accelerated evolution, which resulted in them all turning to dust. (COMIC: Four Doctors)
