The Tenth Sontaran Battle Fleet attempted to convert the planet Earth into a clone world in 2009, which would have enabled to create billions of Sontarans soldiers. This attempt was thwarted by the Tenth Doctor, who suggested that they were motivated by misfortunes in the Rutan-Sontaran War. (TV: The Poison Sky)
