The clot dissolving medicine was a medicine that the Eleventh Doctor had in the TARDIS that tasted like burnt onions and dissolved blood clots.
In the 22nd century, the Doctor retrieved the medicine from under the TARDIS console and provided it to Miranda Cleaves to safely dissolve her inoperable blood clot. (TV: The Almost People)
