Come on TARDIS, let's go party[nb 1] was the ad hoc title for a small exhibit of a pink painted TARDIS erected on the bank of the River Thames[1] and later, the BBC Television Centre,[3] on 12 July 2023[1] by the BBC as a cross-promotion with 2023 Warner Brothers film Barbie, which starred Fifteenth Doctor actor Ncuti Gatwa among others.

Notably, on Russell T Davies's Instagram account, he clarified that this exhibit genuinely depicted in-universe events.[4]

Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]

In the 2020s, the Doctor's TARDIS is seen around London, painted in a brilliant pink colour scheme.

Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • One corner of the TARDIS's new paintjob is peeling, showing the original blue underneath.

Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]

Continuity[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • A pink TARDIS was previously seen in TV: The Happiness Patrol [+]Loading...["The Happiness Patrol (TV story)"], when it was painted pink by the Happiness Patrol to make it more appealing to their enforced happiness dogma.
