Construction droid

Construction droids were robots used to conduct a wide range of tasks, including construction, surface mapping, manual repairs and mineral drilling.

In the 26th century, construction droids began building Martian Lunar Park. This project was never fully completed after reports of a monster in the area led to a construction dispute.

By 2589, Kai Tobias had reprogrammed these droids to attack and injure guests, so that he could generate fear to appease a God from another universe. These reprogrammed droids were disguised with sack cloth, and made to look like animals which Kai called Phobians. One of these reprogrammed droids, Droid 4, was instructed to carry the Eighth Doctor and Lucie Miller up a mountain and throw them into a wormhole. (AUDIO: Phobos)
