Creatures from the edge of the universe once attempted to invade Earth. Before doing so, they decided to assassinate the Third Doctor. They travelled to Earth for this purpose but the Doctor disintegrated it with his cane. After, those remaining in their spacecraft fled. (COMIC: Assassin from Space)
