A crewman was a member of Captain Hopper's crew that transported Professor Parry's expedition to Telos in the 25th century.
When they landed, they blew off part of the mountain which revealed a pair of doors. When Kaftan offered fifty pounds to the first man who opened the doors, he tried but was electrocuted when he touched the doors and died. (TV: The Tomb of the Cybermen)
