Crown of Thoughts

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

The Crown of Thoughts was a headband left in the Land of Fiction by its departing creators. Whoever wore it could freely manipulate matter within the Land.

When the Master arrived in the Land, the Crown was worn by the fictional character James Moriarty, whose self-belief was so strong that he had gained a measure of control of his world, and had made himself the leader of the Sisyphean Society. The Master took the Crown and used it power to summon Martian tripods to attack the group. After a moment spent considering remaining in the Land and using the Crown to live like a god, the Master decided to head back towards his native universe, planning to study the Crown and derive other uses from its technology. By another account, the creators who abandoned the Land of Fiction were the Gods of Ragnarok. (PROSE: Conundrum)

In form and function, the Crown closely resembled the device worn by the Ensign writer during his time as the Master of the Land, and which physically connected him to the Master Brain. (TV: The Mind Robber) However, the Crown was wireless, and no mention of the Master Brain was made during the attack on the Sisyphean Society. (COMIC: Character Assassin)
