One Cyberon was aboard the Cyberon vessel when it went through the Merrapine Scar. It was the sole Cyberon to survive after the vessel crashed into Earth.
Using the fluid from the Conversion Engine, (PROSE: Flight of the Cyberons [+]Loading...["Flight of the Cyberons (short story)"]) it influenced PKD workers to produce Cyberon, in an attempt to maintain the species alive.
