A Dalek of the early Hartnell era was used by the Sixth Doctor as a conversation piece hat rack as per some of the advice contained within 101 Things To Do With A Dead Dalek. The Doctor acquired the piece from "a nice little place" in Totter's Lane. He used it to store hats and a scarf and eagerly told two party guests at an event he had organised about its origins.
