Dalek One

Dalek One was Davros' designation for the first "perfect Dalek", the "finished version" of his project to create intelligent warrior robots with the mutated brains of badly wounded Kaled soldiers.

After constructing a hi-tech life-support chair to replace his old wheelchair, Davros saw to the construction of Dalek One. Unlike the earlier prototype, its exterior was polished and gleaming. In addition to the eyestalk, it was equipped with a tactile arm and a gunstick. It spoke in a harsh grating voice not unlike that of Davros himself. (PROSE: Davros Genesis)

The finished Travel Machine was the Mark III Travel Machine, (TV: Genesis of the Daleks) which according to another account, followed multiple Mark II Travel Machines. (PROSE: The History of the Daleks)
