Protective bracelets were given to the Eleventh Doctor, Amy Pond and Rory Williams by the Parliament of the Daleks. They wore them to protect themselves against the nanogenes in the Dalek Asylum's nanocloud from turning them into Dalek puppets. One puppet stole Amy's bracelet and the process began. The Doctor, who Amy thought probably didn't need protecting from the nanocloud due to his Time Lord biology, gave his to her while he looked for Oswin Oswald. (TV: Asylum of the Daleks)
