Daphne Gold was a detective who arrested the Unbound Doctor for murder. She had seen similar murders of counsellors. She allowed the Doctor to help in her investigations. She became a detective to change things, but realised that she couldn't. The Doctor thought she was being used. (AUDIO: Dead and Breakfast)
