David Snell

David Snell was a freelance composer who was initially hired to create the incidental music for Paradise Towers. Snell's score for the serial was fully completed, but it would ultimately be rejected by John Nathan-Turner, who felt that it was too repetitive, with an alternate score being created by Keff McCulloch inside of a week to replace it.
Snell's original score would later be included in the 2011 DVD release of Paradise Towers as a bonus feature, with Snell himself also being interviewed for the documentary Horror on the High Rise.

- David Snell is one of two composers to have their score for a Doctor Who serial ultimately go unused; the other being John Lewis, who unexpectedly fell ill and later died before completing his score for The Mark of the Rani, with an alternate score by Jonathan Gibbs being used in its place.
