Demetra Kine was a leading member of the Blood Coteries. In order to capture Shuncucker, Kine and four other members of the Coteries were illegally bio-manipulated to have time-active protocols and thus put on the Great Houses prison-planet.
Possessed by Compassion, Selvynkesh freed Kine, allowing her to cause chaos in the prison which let Justine McManus escape. (AUDIO: A Labyrinth of Histories)
