Des Martin was a much respected freelance photographer who shot many celebrities and soap stars (including the actors on Market Square) for magazines. He lived in London and worked in a studio above his girlfriend Natasha's basement flat. He was visited by the Vacant Mitra Ashkanzai, who stole his "personality" and ambitions before stealing his camera which she used on others by keeping his appointments. He was later returned to normal thanks to the Tenth Doctor. (PROSE: The Pictures of Emptiness)
