Director (A Life in the Day of a Doctor Who Production)
From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
The Director, a perpetually-angry humanoid with pointy teeth worked on Doctor Who by 2003 and was tasked with directing the Doctor Who Fortieth Anniversary Special. Upset with the programmer writer's script, he literally tore through it, and later literally breathed out fire in anger when the test footage of the Doctors proved unsatisfactory. Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- In 1987, when the satirical story A Life in the Day of a Doctor Who Production, it stood to reason to presume that 2003 would see the release of a big-scale Doctor Who anniversary special. In real life, however, by 2003, the main Doctor Who series had been cancelled; the directors of the two non-TV Doctor Who stories with a claim to being the real-life 40th anniversary special were, respectively, Wilson Milam (director of Scream of the Shalka) and Gary Russell (director of Zagreus).
