Director (Professor What)
The Director was a director of movies about the time traveller known as the Doctor. He had hired androids who took the appearance of the Doctor and their companions, playing Professor and Companion.
For a movie set on Skaro, he bought what he believed to be an empty Dalek chassis as a prop, which turned out to be a still-living Dalek, who wrecked his movie. The incident was handled by the Tenth Doctor and Martha Jones as well as his Judoon advisor Wright, and he promised to be more careful in future. He wanted his next movie to involve a Weeping Angel. Sometime later, he had left a note on the TARDIS, asking for assistance from the Doctor. The Twelfth Doctor bemoaned this, but went to his studio anyway, along with Bill Potts, arriving during a movie set on "Bad Wolf Bay" during the departure scene between the "Tenth Doctor" and "Rose Tyler". The Director asked the Doctor to assist him in his newest movie, Davros: The Musical.
For this movie he had bought empty Dalek chassises, but quickly discovered with the Doctor's help that they were remote controlled by Davros from the planet of Skaro. He almost called the movie off before discovering that the machines were rigged to explode if he did so, and vowed to complete the movie.
