The Doctor Who Magazine Annual Poll was an awards ceremony of sorts which presented honours such as the Favourite Doctor Award. The first seven incarnations of the Doctor attended the event, as did Beverly Crusher, Spock and Jim Kirk.
One year, Crusher was named as the "favourite doctor" which led the Seventh Doctor to comment that this definitely meant he had been off the screens for too long. (COMIC: Doctor Who? 176)
