Doranium

Doranium was a mineral which was charged with electricity, enough to propel missiles to even the furthest planets.

Space Pilot Commander Don Morais and his co-pilot Zec were captured by the Daleks and forced, under threat of exposure to plasmoral constrictive gas, to find doranium for them. After being provided with insulated gloves and shoes, they journeyed to the Valley of Rocks in their search. They discovered a cliff made of the substance, which was being continually recharged by exposure to acid, and a newly-built Dalek space station. Rather than let the Daleks have it, Don threw a metal water bottle through a gap in the doranium, short-circuiting the electric charges and causing the cliff to crumble, which also destroyed the space station.
