Doreen (Hallo My Dalek)
Doreen was a Grey Dalek who lived aboard Doctor Why's TARDIS.
Doreen, who was referred to as a "she" by the Doctor, was by the time traveller's admission somewhat mentally disturbed, and was known to try to chat up a dustbin the Doctor kept somewhere in his TARDIS. Although still occasionally shouting "Exterminate!", Doreen displayed no actual interest in extermination, instead desiring the company of humans and humanoids; shortly after making his acquaintance, she even insisted on waltzing with the Brigadier.
Doreen kept her eyestalk raised straight above her head like an antenna at all times, though this did not seem to impair her navigational abilities. She possessed a few other physical peculiarities: she was capable (and, indeed, fond) of eating metal; and, if one yanked down her manipulator arm like the lever of a slot machine, her casing could function as one, releasing a flood of coins. - Despite the use of female pronouns (and, indeed, the female name) of Doreen throughout the episode, her one line, the typical Dalek "Exterminate", was still delivered by a male actor.
