- Jago & Litefoot takes place in the 1890s, but in the real world "Down by the Glenside" was composed around 1916.[1] In fact, Maurice [+]Loading...["Maurice (audio story)"], the story immediately following Jago & Son, establishes 1909 to be quite a way into the future.
