Mrs Doyle was the cook at 64 Carlysle Street. She was not married, but used the "Mrs" as was customary among unmarried female cooks.
When the old butler, Mr Golightly, suddenly died, she went into hysterics. Upstairs, an alien brought to the house by Roztoq had possessed Annabel Greystone, and it brought her downstairs to the servants' hall. It stopped Mrs Doyle's screaming.
