Earth Federation
The Earth Federation, sometimes called EarthFed, was a group of human-settled planets. Bernice Summerfield thought that it was a lot like the 19th century British Empire. Despite its name, Earth was not part of it. (PROSE: The Door into Bedlam)

In 2464, a war broke out as an alliance including the Earth Federation opposed the Daleks. Coming to be known as the "Dalek Wars", the conflict was ongoing for 75 years as of 2539. (PROSE: The Colony of Lies)
In 2600, Benny encountered EarthFed forces on Goron IV, where they were exploiting native Goronians. The Goronians had the ability to open conduits to other universes, and the Earth Federation hoped to take advantage of that ability.
When Benny ruined their plans, the EarthFed leader, Dr Grobe, was very angry, but she accused them of exploiting the natives and letting her be captured. They left the planet, returning to New Terra. (PROSE: The Door into Bedlam)
