Edmund was one of the men-at-arms of the 12th century Earl Godfrey.

He was part of the party sent into the forest to look for Osbert after he and Sergeant Alfred were attacked by a "wolf-creature". The group soon came upon a distinct monster from the one Alfred and Osbert had seen, but similarly green — in actuality Osbert himself after he had been taken over by a Krynoid just like the wolf he and Alfred had earlier encountered. The Krynoid effortlessly killed Leofric before wounding Edmund, forcing the party to flee and take the wounded Edmund back to the castle to be tended to. Alfred was somewhat put out, when he arrived at the castle and announced the news, that the Earl had not known Edmund's name. (AUDIO: The Green Man)
