Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

Early life[[edit] | [edit source]]

Edward made his living dealing in oil and armaments during the later 20th century. He had a son, Henry, whom he kept isolated in a house within the Utah for most of his childhood. Edward rarely saw his son, always away arranging business agreements, notably with Russian bankers, so left him in the care of Otto von Donitz. However, upon learning Otto had gifted Henry a telescope for his birthday, Edward fired Otto and had the telescope destroyed, believing staring at the stars only made people think things could not be achieved. Death[[edit] | [edit source]]

By Henry's fifteenth birthday, Edward was dying and decided to gift Henry one million dollars, hoping his son would prove he could run the business in his absence. To his frustration, Henry invested the money in communications instead of oil but conceded that Henry was the only one skilled enough to inherit the corporation. After Edward's death, Henry renamed the company Geocomtex and had all of his previous workers fired, intent on redesigning the entire company around seeking out and using alien artefacts.
