Electromagnetic extinction event was the term for what Harlan Castellos turned the death of his TARDIS into during the Spiral Furl early during the Last Great Time War. The extinction event made Daleks involved in the Spiral Furl fall from the sky like hail, yet the loss did not convince the Daleks to end the War, in fact only making them angrier.
