In 2010, the Shansheeth, in conjunction with rogue UNIT officer Tia Karim, held a funeral for the Eleventh Doctor at UNIT Base 5 in Mount Snowdon. In attendance were two of the Doctor's companions, Sarah Jane Smith and Jo Jones. Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart and Liz Shaw were also supposed to attend, but were unable to. Ultimately, this funeral was a ruse so the Shansheeth and Tia could use a memory weave on Sarah Jane and Jo to recreate the TARDIS key and gain access to the Doctor's TARDIS.
