Ellie worked for Ganymede Systems aboard the space station Chasm Forge. She was in a relationship with Ivan.
While navigating the exterior of the station, Ellie confessed to Ivan that she was ready to have a baby with him. However, due to issues with communications, Ivan could not hear her. While Ivan worked to open an airlock, Ellie was ambushed by smartsuits, which ripped off her helmet, killing her.
Ellie's corpse was among those within the smartsuits that pursued the surviving workers of Chasm Forge. When the Twelfth Doctor linked the survivors' life signs to the station's coolant system, the smartsuit containing Ellie's corpse replenished Ivan's oxygen supply. (TV: Oxygen)
