Emily Dickinson: The Complete Poems was a book of Emily Dickinson poetry, including the poems "Success is Counted Sweetest" and "My Life Closed Twice Before Its Close". Suzie Costello owned a copy; it was stored in a Torchwood warehouse with the rest of her possessions after her death.

Jack Harkness had Kathy Swanson buy the book when Suzie made the Torchwood Hub go into lockdown by having Max Tresilian recite "The Chariot". It cost her 20 pounds. They went through several of the poems inside, hoping for an override, when Toshiko Sato had a clever idea: maybe it wasn't a poem that would unlock the base, but a set of numbers. The book's ISBN, 0-1986-0058-5, reversed the lockdown successfully. (TV: They Keep Killing Suzie)
