Evadne Wintergreen

Evadne Wintergreen was a human psychic. She was the mother of Ben, who died prematurely. In the late 2000s, she was hired by Barry to host a séance in the final day of the House of the Dead, known as the most haunted pub in Wales, actually built on a ley line and on the Cardiff Rift. She was warned by Jack Harkness not to go further in her summonings, but she went straight forward and managed to evoke Syriath, an ancient entity living in the Rift, and able to bend time and bring back the dead. Syriath summoned her dead son Ben; later, the entity possessed her to talk with Jack Harkness. Eventually, Mrs Wintergreen faded in the Rift to go after the ghost of her son.
