Everest in Easy Stages
From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
Everest in Easy Stages was a book owned by the Fourth Doctor.
History[[edit] | [edit source]]
On Chloris, the Doctor took from his coat pocket and began reading Everest in Easy Stages for hints on how to climb out of the pit — the side of which he was clinging to at the time.
The book turned out to be written in Tibetan, so the Doctor produced and consulted another called Teach Yourself Tibetan. He subsequently translated the opening line of Everest in Easy Stages, which was "Do not be afraid." (TV: The Creature from the Pit)
